The LafargeHolcim Awards competition is truly global. In the 2016/17 entry period, we received entries from more than 120 countries. But to ensure the independent regional juries evaluate all submissions equally – and also enable the LafargeHolcim Foundation to share information about the amazing winning projects – submissions must be completed in English.
Some information about the competition is also available in other languages, for example: a Quick Guide is available in English, French, Spanish and Turkish; and a media release about the launch of the Awards competition was made in English, French, German and Spanish. A short introductory video on the Awards competition is available via YouTube in English, Chinese, French and Spanish, as well as in English with subtitles in Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, Kurdish, Polish, and Portuguese. Further information in local languages may be available from the LafargeHolcim company in your country.
Entries must be submitted in English, the principal and legally binding language of the LafargeHolcim Awards competition. The online entry form supports standard characters and other characters should be substituted. We recommend using the Step-by-step guide and the support of an online translator when needed to fully understand the entry process. If you have further questions, please contact the Helpdesk.
