Sandra Boivin is R&D Support Director at the LafargeHolcim Innovation Center near Lyon, France.
She is also Head of the R&D Department for the solutions and products business segment at the LafargeHolcim Innovation Center, and develops additional opportunities of open innovation with a start-up accelerator program.
Sandra Boivin’s previous roles at LafargeHolcim include R&D Director for Transfer & Support to Countries (2013-16), Innovation Coach (2012-13), Marketing Director (2010-12), Marketing & Product Director (2007-10), and Manager of an Analysis Lab (2004-07), in addition to research roles in the LCR (1996-2003). She was also a Research & Teaching Assistant at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA (1992-95).
She holds an Engineer’s Degree, Civil Engineering from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Lyon, France (1992), a Master of Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan (1994), and a PhD in Structures and Materials from the École des Ponts ParisTech (1999).
Sandra Boivin was a member of the LafargeHolcim Awards jury for region Asia Pacific in 2020.
