Sandra Boivin is Head of the R&D Department for the solutions and products business segment at the LafargeHolcim Innovation Center, and develops additional opportunities of open innovation with a start-up accelerator program.
Sandra Boivin’s previous roles at LafargeHolcim include R&D Director for Transfer & Support to Countries (2013-16), Innovation Coach (2012-13), Marketing Director (2010-12), Marketing & Product Director (2007-10), and Manager of an Analysis Lab (2004-07), in addition to research roles in the LCR (1996-2003). She was also a Research & Teaching Assistant at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA (1992-95).
She holds an Engineer’s Degree, Civil Engineering from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Lyon, France (1992), a Master of Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan (1994), and a PhD in Structures and Materials from the École des Ponts ParisTech (1999).
Sandra Boivin was a member of the LafargeHolcim Awards jury for region Asia Pacific in 2020.
She participated in the first Roundtable to prepare the topics of the LafargeHolcim Forum for Sustainable Construction in 2020.
