Magali Anderson
About
Magali Anderson is Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) and a member of the Executive Committee of LafargeHolcim.
She is also a member of the Board of the LafargeHolcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction.
She was appointed the first Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) in October 2019, reflecting LafargeHolcim’s efforts to be the industry leader on decarbonization, circular economy, health and safety and corporate social responsibility.
She was previously Head of Health & Safety at LafargeHolcim (2016-19), driving a program to reduce the number of incidents both on-site and on-road.
She has an extensive international industry experience, acquired in a variety of general management, operational and functional roles at Schlumberger in countries such as Brazil, Nigeria, Indonesia, Angola, Romania and China.
Magali Anderson studied mechanical engineering at the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Lyon (INSA Lyon), France (1984-89).
She participated in the first Roundtable to prepare the topics of the LafargeHolcim Forum for Sustainable Construction in 2020.
