Jens Diebold is Head of Sustainable Development of LafargeHolcim and member of the Board of the LafargeHolcim Foundation.
Jens Diebold was CEO of LafargeHolcim in Germany (2015-18). He was previously Head of Corporate Strategy at Holcim Group Services and also held positions in competitive intelligence, optimization, logistics and business planning.
Prior to joining Holcim, he worked as a risk management consultant and business development manager at the Ammann Group and Ernst Basler + Partner.
He obtained a Master of Civil Engineering and a Master of Industrial Management (BWI) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). He has also completed the Stanford Executive Program (SEP) at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
He participated in the inaugural Holcim Roundtable for Sustainable Construction on the theme “De-Materializing Construction” hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2014 where he presented “An ambition to drive change” and the 3rd Roundtable at the Institute for Lightweight Structures & Conceptual Design (ILEK), University of Stuttgart, Germany (2018).
Jens Diebold was a member of the Global LafargeHolcim Awards jury in 2018.
