Jens Diebold
About
Jens Diebold is Head of Strategy Europe at LafargeHolcim, based in Zug, Switzerland.
He was a member of the Board of the LafargeHolcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction (2018-19).
He was appointed Head of Strategy Europe at LafargeHolcim in November 2019. He was previously Head of Sustainable Development of LafargeHolcim (2018-19), CEO of LafargeHolcim in Germany (2015-18), and Head of Corporate Strategy at Holcim Group Services. He also held positions in competitive intelligence, optimization, logistics and business planning.
Prior to joining Holcim, he worked as a risk management consultant and business development manager at the Ammann Group and Ernst Basler + Partner.
He obtained a Master of Civil Engineering and a Master of Industrial Management (BWI) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). He has also completed the Stanford Executive Program (SEP) at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
He participated in the inaugural Holcim Roundtable for Sustainable Construction on the theme “De-Materializing Construction” hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2014 where he presented “An ambition to drive change” and the 3rd Roundtable at the Institute for Lightweight Structures & Conceptual Design (ILEK), University of Stuttgart, Germany (2018).
Jens Diebold was a member of the Global LafargeHolcim Awards jury in 2018.
