Gwendolyn Kerschbaumer is Head of Research at Laboratoire Bâle (laba), a
satellite laboratory located in Basel of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de
Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.

Conducted by Harry Gugger, laba is devoted to the investigation of design at the interface between urban issues and architecture. Her areas of interest are architecture, urban design, urban and regional planning, sustainable architecture and urban design.
