Bernardo Baranda
About
Bernardo Baranda is Regional Director for Latin America at the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) in Mexico City, Mexico. ITDP works in cities in Mexico promoting projects for improvements in public transport, non-motorized transport and travel demand management.
Bernardo Baranda holds a masters degree in transport engineering from IHE-TU, Delft, The Netherlands, and a masters of management and implementation of development projects from the former University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, United Kingdom. He also holds a bachelors in civil engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
He has given presentations, interviews and written articles related to urban sustainable mobility.
