Iker Luna (right), a Nicaraguan national, won the “Next Generation” 3rd prize for Europe with “Bio Ceramic: Moss-grafted clay tiles for green roofs” based on his research at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, Spain. He was congratulated on his achievement by Dolores Prado, CEO Holcim Nicaragua at the Holcim Awards ceremony for Latin America in Medellín, Colombia.
